Ermenegildo Zegna, known simply as Zegna, is renowned for its fine fabrics. A fourth-generation family business, the Italian menswear brand continues to manufacture premium suits for luxury fashion houses around the world. Think Tom Ford, Gucci and Saint Laurent – not to mention its own.
This Christmas, the Zegna Gift Collection includes holiday gifts produced with its iconic leather and other fabrics. Essential small leather goods, a toy and lifestyle selection, and a technological series – designed in collaboration with premium audio designer, Master & Dynamic – make up an array of gift options.
This technique is rooted in the Zegna story: when Ermenegildo Zegna founded his namesake company in 1910, he also made use of his father’s textile looms.
The Pelletessuta leather features as a chevron pattern on a number of pieces, including the Zegna yoga mat. The mat is made of textured foam, while the crossbody strap is offered in steely grey or tawny vicuna brown stripes.
Zegna is also showcasing its Trofeo wool, Techmerino wool and Pelletessuta fabric with three amusing characters: Romeo, Enzo and Luigi, each humorously constructed with elements from the gift collection. Luigi, for example, is never seen without his shades or premium headphones, while the Pelletussuta puppet exudes worldly leisure, like a millennial Cousin Itt.
