Korean actress Song Hye-kyo’s star-power knows no bounds.
The latest proof?
Luxury heritage jewellery house Chaumet has tapped Song as its newest ambassador for Asia.
“She will personify the elegance and spirit of the House among other remarkable women,” Chaumet said.
The A-list actress is best known for her work in hit Korean television dramas, such as Descendants of the Sun and That Winter, the Wind Blows and films including My Brilliant Life.
She is currently starring in the romantic television melodrama, Encounters, alongside Park Bo-gum.
The house of Chaumet traces its roots back to 1780, when the maison was the official jeweller to Napoleon and Empress Josephine.
Since then, the 238-year-old brand has grown from strength to strength and is known for its jewellery and watchmaking expertise.
