One of Hollywood’s most significant music events, the Grammy Awards ceremony, was held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday night (US time).
Hosted by 15-time Grammy winner Alicia Keys, the 61st edition welcomed the most popular stars in music, including Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Lopez and Drake.
Females and their sparkling styles dominated this year’s gala. Nominees and presenters hit the red carpet donning the newest – well sometimes, the most vintage – in fashion.
Here are celebrities who didn’t quite make the style grade:
Cardi B has become fashion’s newest icon with her bold outfit choices. She opted for an archive Mugler dress from the designer’s autumn/winter 1995 collection. Yet, with the pearls, who else thinks the look reminds them of an oyster?
Called ‘fruit sister’ by the Chinese, Katy Perry is known for her colourful style. In this pink multi-layered Balmain dress, she might soon be known as ‘cupcake sister’.
