The industry united to bid ‘adieu’ to the late German designer at his autumn/winter 2019/20 collection show

This year’s Paris Fashion Week was longer than previous years – and the events staged at the other three major host cities – Milan, London and New York.

Paris hosted shows by the biggest French fashion brands, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Dior and Hermès, as well as foreign labels such as Italy’s Valentino, Japan’s Yohji Yamamoto, and China’s Uma Wang.

During our two weeks in the French capital, we’ve witnessed the most fantastic shows, including the late German designer Karl Lagerfeld’s Chanel finale, Hedi Slimane’s applauded rebranding of Celine and Virgil Abloh’s star-studded Off-White presentation featuring Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Karlie Kloss.
