Met Gala 2019: which stars were the worst- and the best-dressed?

From gorgeous haute couture designs to more playful outfits, this is what celebrities took to this year’s fashion camp
The first Monday of May has finally happened. Not necessarily blue, it’s probably the most colourful day of the year, thanks to fashion’s biggest extravaganza The Met Gala.
Hosted by Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour to raise money for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York, the invitation only-event marks the most important event in any celebrity and designer’s calendar.
Themed “Camp: Notes on Fashion” for the 2019 edition, the event was co-chaired by Lady Gaga, Gucci designer Alessandro Michele, Harry Styles and Serena Williams at the Met museum. This year, we saw a lot of volume, glitz, men in women’s costumes and heels, and all sorts of faces.
From gorgeous haute couture designs to more playful outfits with a statement, here are what the stars took to this year’s fashion camp.
The so-so:
As the holy grail of fashion, the Met Gala calls for wows, not just any regular red carpet outfits. For those who dressed too safely, it’s already a loss.
Speaking of loss, this is not what red carpet diva and model Karlie Kloss can pull off, or shall we say, camp in?
