From dapper to dandy: the best street styles at Pitti Uomo in Italy

Initiative with Shanghai Fashion Week brings in talent such as Danshan, Policy, Samuel Guì yang and Pronounce
Real fashion happens on the street, as the legendary late street photographer Bill Cunningham once observed. However, Instagram has emerged as the runway for everyone in the age of social media, as seen at Pitti Uomo 96 in Florence, Italy.
Launched in 1972, Pitti Uomo is the world’s leading fashion event dedicated to men’s clothing and accessory collections, and held in Florence twice a year. The 2019 summer edition from June 11-14 hosted Salvatore Ferragamo and Givenchy, who both moved their shows from the usual men’s fashion weeks.
Pitti Uomo 96 featured China as the guest nation this year, an initiative with Shanghai Fashion Week, which brought in talent such as Danshan, Policy, Samuel Guì yang and Pronounce, which hosted a special fashion show.
