Happenings: Prada hosted its menswear 2020 spring/summer fashion show at the Minsheng Art Wharf in one of Asia’s largest silo warehouses.

After the show, Prada offered guests an exclusive dinner, musical performances and visual installations on the seventh floor of the Silo Hall.
Prada joins Armani, Burberry and Gucci by ditching animal fur from its collections


For one night only, the silo chambers were mapped out with a panorama of light by London-based collective UVA (United Visual Artists), paired with a soundscape curated by Craig Richards, a British producer and resident DJ at London nightclub Fabric.
Fellow British DJ Ben UFO played a back-to-back set until the end of the night.

Themes of duality, shared identity and reflection unite the disparate and distinct performance pieces, interrupting and disrupting the venue and gradually guiding the audience through in an exploration of the unique, immersive spaces on the seventh floor of Minsheng Wharf in Shanghai, mapped with a panorama of light by UVA, for one night only. Fashion influencers Aimee Song and Bryanboy shine at Prada Mode Hong Kong




Chinese and international celebrities attended the event, including actresses Guan Xiaotong and Chloe Maayan, actors Dane DeHaan, Ryo Ryusei and Du Jiang, Victoria’s Secret model Sui He, and American singer and rapper Frank Ocean. Miuccia Prada, head designer at Prada, joined the celebration.
Winnie Harlow and Alexa Chung get the Prada party started

Guests were treated to audio and visual performances throughout the night, including a live solo set by Dana Leong, the world’s top electric cellist and two-time Grammy Award-winning multi-instrumentalist, alongside contemporary ballet dancer Katherine Crockett.
Luxembourg-born pianist Francesco Tristano also showcased a few of his new album songs in a live performance.
