Forget boring duffels – World Cup footballers have been showing off their style game, from Lamine Yamal’s Chanel to Noa Lang’s Hermès

All eyes are on the Fifa World Cup 2026 – but forget the pitch for a moment. The real show started the second the players stepped off their planes. Instead of plain old duffels, football’s biggest names have been flexing their fashion game with luxury bags that look like they came fresh off the runway.

Mbappé’s opponent in La Liga, Jules Koundé, is playing alongside him for France’s national team. The latter has also boasted strong style carrying a Louis Vuitton brown monogram canvas messenger bag on his way to training camp southwest of Paris.

Arsenal’s attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze, who plays for England, apparently chose to pay tribute to his homeland by carrying a Burberry Check Holdall bag in classic archive beige when spotted leaving the team’s hotel in Budapest following a crushing defeat in the UEFA Champions League Final just weeks before the World Cup kick-off.
