From The Snapshot to The Wave, the spring 2026 collection reframes the brand’s most loved bags as a celebration of personal style

Ever since he created the now legendary Venetia in the early 2000s, New York designer Marc Jacobs has had the Midas touch with handbags. Today, the brand’s bag universe includes a range of must-have styles – from the legendary Stam, named after Canadian model Jessica Stam, and the tongue-in-cheek boxy The Tote Bag, to The Snapshot, a compact, camera-style silhouette with signature double-J hardware.

The latest collection for spring 2026, Make Your Marc pays tribute to many of these iconic designs, elevating accessories into a personal statement. A celebration of individuality, the range is anchored by the house’s most defining silhouettes and codes, and purposefully spotlights instantly recognisable icons like The Tote and The Snapshot.

At the core of the collection is the J Marc, the brand’s signature monogram. Originally sketched on a napkin by Jacobs in 2016, this enduring symbol plays with the designer’s initials and appears in bold expressions throughout the spring range.

Also making a statement are new permutations of The Snapshot, a global icon revered for its timeless design and versatility. Spring’s refreshed versions include refined functional details and new chain strap options for enhanced wearability, while The Snapshot Shoulder is a stylish update on the original with its elongated profile designed for day-to-night wear.

New silhouettes include The Wave, first unveiled on the spring/summer 2025 runway. It immediately made an impression with its soft, slouchy silhouette and abstract 3D wave detail on the front. Spring’s offering features a sculptural, fluid form balanced by structured proportions, offering a new take on modern femininity.
