The brand’s new range lends sun‑washed colour and smart, travel‑ready designs to every journey, from city breaks to coastal jaunts

Tumi’s spring 2026 story begins not on a catwalk or in an airport, but on a coastline. With Mediterranean Escape, its latest collection, the travel, lifestyle and accessories brand filters the warmth of the Mediterranean through its most recognisable pieces, from hard-sided luggage to easy, everyday totes. The result is a range that feels ready for a weekend in Cap Ferrat or Capri.

Anchored by a bold seasonal palette, the collection leans into lush thyme green, sun‑washed terracotta and radiant sunlit yellow across key lines, including the iconic 19 Degree polycarbonate luggage range. Cases are reimagined in these destination‑inspired hues, while the latest Front Access design adds a cleverly crafted front‑lid zip entry to the main compartment, making quick changes and tight overhead compartments easier to navigate.

Texture, meanwhile, characterises much of Mediterranean Escape. A raffia‑inspired capsule brings woven warmth to the expanded Olas collection, with the Olas Milos woven tote and Olas woven small shoulder bag balancing artisanal feel and clean, modern lines for city days or resort evenings. The Voyageur Q tote offers a more streamlined option: a versatile, organised holdall in Pink Clay, Thyme, Oat or Indigo, designed to move seamlessly between work, weekends and short‑haul flights.

Print plays its part too. A Mediterranean‑inspired motif runs across the Voyageur Malta pouch trio, the foldable Just in Case tote, the Belden sunglass charm and passport case, and a Tegra Lite International expandable carry‑on, evoking a sense of escape. Olive, flower and lemon‑inspired bag charms, plus the Belden sunglass charm, add small but sensorial nods to open‑air markets and long days under the sun.

Last month, Tumi brought that mood to Hong Kong with an event at Michelin-starred Louise restaurant, transforming the two‑storey space into a Mediterranean Marketplace for around 150 guests. In rooms washed with thyme, terracotta and yellow, friends of the brand including actress Fala Chen and Olympic swimmer Stephanie Au moved between lemon‑scented workshops and alfresco lounges as head of Tumi Asia‑Pacific and the Middle East, Aris Maroulis, outlined the new collection’s “relaxed expression of escape”.
