Fenty Beauty’s new, Snap Shadows eyeshadow palettes are coming to Hong Kong and we’re already swooning
STYLE gets a first peek at the snap-together palettes from Rihanna’s popular make-up beauty brand which arrive in Hong Kong in January
The eyes have it! “It” being Fenty’s new collection. Rihanna’s beauty brand did have an eyeshadow palette before, but the 16-shade Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette was a bit much for people who only have one or two go-to make-up looks – and, let’s face it, it wasn’t exactly easy to slip into a small bag or clutch.
Well, RiRi heard us loud and clear, and Fenty Beauty now has eight Snap Shadows palettes, each with six complementary shades. “All the shades you like and none you don’t,” the singer and businesswoman said. “That’s the beauty of Snap Shadows – you can mix and match these palettes to vibe with you.”
The combinations range from the candy hues of Pastel Frost and the retro colours of Cadet, to the rich, floral hues of Rose and the soft, sun-warmed shades of Peach. The name Snap Shadows comes from the way two palettes can snap together through the back of the case, similar to how the brand’s hexagonal Match Stix line are magnetised for easy “honeycomb” grouping and storing.
Fenty is also releasing three new brushes for blending and application – the tapered Precise Definition Eyeshadow Brush, as well as two fuller brushes – Precision Blending Brush and Plush Eyeshadow Brush – for shading and control.
The collection drops in Hong Kong on January 16, 2020, so Fenty fans won’t have long to wait.
