The world’s crème de la crème of hotel suites can make these dreams come true. But they don’t come cheap. In fact, most of these accommodations can cost more than a car, or down payment on a home, for just one night.

We scoured the globe to find the most expensive hotel suites of 2023 – according to multiple sources.

10. The Muraka at Conrad Maldives

You’ve heard of sleeping under the stars, but how about sleeping under the sea?

Conrad’s The Muraka is a three-bedroom, two-level suite with a master bedroom submerged 4.8 metres below land. Watch majestic marine life swim by, from the comfort of your master bedroom, equipped with a 180-degree curved acrylic dome.

The property’s most exclusive option is the Grand Riad, a 19,000 sq ft abode accessible via a private olive tree patio. There’s a roof terrace with a tented lounge, dining room, private hammam, home cinema, and fitness room; three bedrooms; a private pool and gardens, and much more.

Everything about this accommodation screams elegance and opulence, and with its prime Fifth Avenue location, it’s close to everything you need in the Big Apple – from shopping to Michelin-starred restaurants.

“Designed for royals and prestigious guests”, per its website, The Royal Villa is a waterfront escape with 4,400 sq ft of space to play with (plus 6,900 sq ft of outdoor space). It features two master bedrooms, a spacious living room with a fireplace, dining area, fully equipped business corner, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, gym and steam bath, massage area, two marble-lined bathrooms and a guest bath.

Touted as one of the most luxurious residences in the Big Apple, The Mark’s Penthouse promises the very best in location, interiors and views. At over 10,000 sq ft including 2,500 sq ft of rooftop terrace space, this is the biggest hotel penthouse in the US, states its website.

Designed by legendary French interior designer Jacques Grange, it takes up the top two floors of the hotel and includes five bedrooms, four fireplaces, six bathrooms, two powder rooms, and two wet bars. Did we mention that the living room can be transformed into a full-sized grand ballroom, and boasts eight-metre ceilings?

Taking up the eighth floor of the prestigious Hotel President Wilson in Geneva, the Royal Penthouse Suite is famous for being the largest one in Europe, according to the property. Boasting over 18,000 sq ft of luxurious interiors, this accommodation is equipped with 12 bedrooms with marble bathrooms, a Steinway grand piano, private gym, collection of ancient books, and more.

As this suite often welcomes the world’s richest, it features the highest level of security – from bulletproof windows to emergency alarm buttons.

It’s no secret that Las Vegas does extravagance well (much like Hong Kong neighbour, Macau). With 9,100 sq ft of space to roam in, Palm Casino Resort’s Empathy Suite is a one-of-a-kind space designed by renowned artist Damien Hirst (yup, that means his art is everywhere). This lavish accommodation includes a private pool, butler service, a 13-seat bar, two massage rooms with a salt sauna, all while being within footsteps of the casino.
