1. Artyzen Singapore

Newly opened in November 2023, Artyzen Singapore embodies the urban oasis energy the city state is known for. Structured like a vertical garden with lush foliage dotting its balconies, the new haven is located just off Orchard Road, the city’s premier shopping district. The 20-storey hotel’s abundance of flora and fauna pays tribute to Singapore’s “Garden City” vision with delicate design touches nodding to Singaporean Straits Chinese culture.

Those seeking a tropical escape not far from buzzy city life will notice a couple of charming contrasts. There’s the cosy garden rooftop hugging a 25-metre-long “floating pool” with a see-through glass floor (acrophobes, beware). Meanwhile, traditional art pieces adorn each of Artyzen’s 142 rooms, all of which open out to a balcony with views of the Singapore skyline or its low hills.

The bright and airy Cafe Quenino transforms into a lively lounge by night, serving up local delicacies made for an international palate in an elegant fine-dining atmosphere under the supervision of chef Victor Liong, best known for his Australian-Chinese fusion at Melbourne’s legendary Lee Ho Fook.

The Terrific Swiftie package, priced at S$8,989 (US$6,700) – of course – includes a four-day, three-night stay in Artyzen Singapore’s Terrace Suite, which opens out into its own private garden. Not pictured: Taylor Swift-themed decorations. Photo: Handout

Award-winning hospitality is just the icing on the cake for Artyzen, which has curated two not-to-be-missed packages made especially for Taylor Swift fans, including round-trip limo rides to and from the concert and complimentary breakfasts in-suite, surrounded by Swiftie decor, no less. Prices start at S$8,989 (US$6,700) in a nod to the superstar’s birth year, 1989.
