Vietnamese model-turned-fashion show producer Jessica Minh Anh always puts on a spectacular show.

She has conquered some of the world’s most iconic landmarks and impressed audiences with a two-tiered, outdoor, 150-metre catwalk on the first floor of the Eiffel Tower. In Singapore, she turned the OCBC Skyway at Gardens by the Bay into a runway, and in Kuala Lumpur, she produced the world’s highest fashion show across the Petronas Twin Towers’ sky bridge.

Next month, Minh Anh’s next Fashion x Sustainability show, the J Autumn Fashion Show 2019, will be the first solar-powered ocean catwalk and will be held on the Race for Water vessel.

The boat has 512 square metres of solar panels stored in eight tonnes of batteries, and Minh Anh’s show will take place in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and filmed as a documentary.

Minh Anh visited the vessel earlier this month in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, and STYLE was given a first look at what’s in store for her next fashion extravaganza.
