Anthony Vaccarello’s Saint Laurent spring/summer 2020 fashion show was a luminous tribute to the City of Lights. Staged in the background of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, the runway was formed by pillars of synchronised white light beams stemming from the ground of the deep dark stadium. Is the plushest hotel room in Paris? With a nod to Parisian style, the show brought spectators on a nostalgic, glamorous tour of the 70s. Models paraded the runway with cool attitudes, armed in super sleek outfits, sharp sunglasses and dangling accessories. Turbans, camel-coloured boots and mini shorts were succeeded by rich, golden embroideries. As the rhythm of the music and lights slowed down, dozens of all-black ensembles appeared on the catwalk. The show ended with Naomi Campbell walking out in a black sequinned suit. See more highlighted looks from the Saint Laurent spring/summer show here: Want more stories like this? Sign up here .
