It is summer and flowers are never too much, endorsed by creatives from Marc Jacobs to Erdem. Enormous florals, vibrant colours, oversized polka dots and abstract prints dominated this season’s runways. At Marni, floral patterns are camouflaged as abstract prints. Its designer, Francesco Risso, attempted to bring awareness of sustainability by showcasing this whole collection inspired by the charm of nature and focusing on recycled materials: take inspiration from Richard Quinn’s signature roses or go extreme with Dolce & Gabbana’s Sicilian jungle. Be bold and mix floral and foliage prints from different brands for a head-to-toe full bloom.
