A strategic collaboration between Mercedes-AMG and Cigarette Racing which has been going strong since 2007, the 59’ Tirranna AMG Edition is the partnership’s 12th special-edition boat, made alongside a one-of-a-kind Mercedes-AMG 63 Cigarette Edition automobile that imitates the boat’s impeccable design principles.

The first thing you will notice is its dockside appeal: the yacht is 18 metres long and boasts a 4.3-metre beam. It has a black metallic exterior with a distinct gold diamond pattern designed by AMG.

Despite its size, the Tirranna has been optimised for high performance. Its lightweight carbon-fibre raked high-top allows for better handling, and the instrument panel is nano-coated to be anti-reflective and heat-resistant.

As for what’s under the hood, six supercharged 4.6-litre V8 Mercury Racing 450R outbound engines, each packing a punch of 450 peak prop-shaft horsepower, gives this yacht 2,700 horsepower and a top speed of 128.7 kilometres per hour. The Tirranna also boasts bow and stern thrusters and a unique gyrostabiliser that decreases the yacht’s roll by about 80 per cent.

Expect all the creature comforts of a luxury superyacht. With a maximum capacity of 26 persons, the yacht can be turned into party central with a 29-speaker, 5,200-watt sound system that runs throughout, made in collaboration with JL Audio Marine. The interior colour scheme aligns with the Mediterranean-inspired colourway of the AMG, with macchiato beige and dark blue premium leather.

And let’s not forget the California king-size bed when you fancy a nap. There is a large enclosed bathroom with a separate shower.

Scenery is important, too. Three windows on each side of the hull provide a sea view from within the cabin interior. Skylights in the hardtop and the cabin create a bright and spacious feel. The skylight blinds can be closed when privacy is desired.
