Blackpink’s Jennie is the face of Chanel for a reason: she’s a luxury queen used to nice things and not afraid to spend her millions on beautiful clothes (and her dogs)

Gentle Monster collaborations, solo singles and being the ‘Human Chanel’ have all helped make Jennie from Blackpink a K-pop multimillionaire: how does she spend it?
“Didn’t wanna be a princess, I’m priceless,” sings Blackpink member Jennie on the girl group’s hit tune Lovesick Girls.
But while she might not want to be called a princess, our favourite K-pop rapper really does seem to live like one. Thanks to her take-home as both a soloist and a member of the world’s hottest girl group, not to mention her multiple brand endorsements, Jennie is estimated to have a net worth of over US$8 million.
So where exactly does Jennie get her millions from, and how does she like to spend it?
She comes from an extremely wealthy family

Before her debut in the group, Jennie already lived a life of luxury thanks to her wealthy background. Dubbed one of “the rich kids of K-pop” by E! Online, her mother is reportedly a shareholder and major stakeholder in entertainment company CJ E&M, one of South Korea’s biggest entertainment and media content companies, and parent company of MNet and TVN in South Korea.
Fans have even spotted the star in her family’s Porsche Cayenne (price tag: $US60,000), which they have owned since long before she became famous.
She is the face of several luxury brands
Apart from the money she earns from music, Jennie also makes bank from the many brands who have tapped her to be their brand ambassador. Since 2018, Jennie has been the face of French luxury house Chanel and is a frequent fixture at their seasonal shows.
She has also been asked to be the face of Korean cosmetics brand Hera Beauty, Samsung Galaxy, and Lotte Confectionery, and collaborated with luxury eyewear brand Gentle Monster to release a line of sunglasses called the Jentle Home Collection.
