The coronavirus pandemic might have put the physical Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week – fashion’s most elite agenda – on hold, but that didn’t stop designers from displaying some of the most elaborate couture outfits to inspire us online.

The spring/summer 2021 couture collections are brimming with gorgeous colours, voluminous shapes and intricate fabrics. And each maison features a one-of-a-kind story: a supermodel family reunion featuring Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell at Kim Jones’s debut at Fendi; Valentino creative director Pier Paolo Piccioli’s exploration of time and timelessness through the Code Temporal Haute Couture collection; and Maria Grazia Chiuri’s tarot card-inspired series for Dior.
