Luxury watchmaker Richard Mille has forged a new partnership with what is possibly the most recognisable racing car brand in the world – Ferrari.

Richard Mille and Ferrari both walk the bleeding edge of technology in their respective fields, and both have a deep passion for modern innovation and respect for age-old know-how, so their newly forged relationship promises plenty of exciting fruit.

“I am very pleased about this new multi-year partnership,” says Mattia Binotto, the managing director and team principal of Scuderia Ferrari. “Ferrari and Richard Mille share many common values, from technology to use of similar materials, as well as the passion we put into coming up with and designing our products.”

The multi-year partnership will see Richard Mille extend its support to Ferrari’s many racing endeavours, from the Formula One circuit to the Ferrari Driver Academy. Richard Mille will also be backing the Ferrari Challenge, a single-model motorsport championship that sees Ferrari enthusiasts around the world rally around the racetrack.

Naturally, the tie-up will also manifest itself on the wrists of Richard Mille collectors. According to the brand, its Switzerland-based watchmakers will be spending the next few years developing a special line of timepieces in partnership with Ferrari’s team of designers.
