A humble pair of trainers are a must-have item in your wardrobe, the same way that jeans never go out of style. But don’t underestimate the shoes’ ability to transform your whole outfit if you choose the right pair.

Here are some of our favourite glam trainers to shop for right now.

Part of Louis Vuitton’s spring/summer 2021 upcycling project, these trainers come resplendent with an iridescent luggage tag, LV upcycling logo on the back and monogram flowers on the outsole. Another quirk? They also feature handwritten annotations and deliberately hanging threads, HK$10,500 (US$1,350).
