“I first discovered amber through a close friend, who introduced me to the best quality amber in Lithuania,” he says. “I immediately fell in love with the colour, the light and the warmth of the material. Later, when I discovered incredible amber beads in Milan I was sure that I wanted to work this stone like a precious material.

“It took time to find the amber and craft the pieces and now is the perfect timing for my own brand launch. In addition, it’s perfect for the summer solstice (June 21) to launch this collection.”

For the Amber Collection, Fawaz Gruosi takes what was once fossilised tree resin and, through careful cutting and polishing, showcases the material in all its honey-hued glow and warmth.

The new pieces include earrings, bangles, rings and necklaces, featuring the prized amber alongside precious gems such as diamonds, sapphires, and even tsavorite, onyx, aquamarine and citrine.

“It’s incredible that amber takes millions of years to be formed, that it comes from nature and is like a gift from the earth,” Gruosi says.

“I feel that women of all ages want to feel this kind of warmth, something closer to nature. Especially now, people want to feel real beauty, real magic. With amber, I wanted to show people what made me fall in love with it and I hope they will fall in love with it too.”
