Panerai has form when it comes to satisfying the requirements of particularly exacting groups of customers. For many years, the luxury watch manufacturer – founded in 1860 in Florence and based these days in Neuchâtel, Switzerland – was the official supplier of precision instruments to the Italian Navy, and in particular its specialist diving corps.

So for loved ones, friends and relatives who are particularly hard to please, you can take your pick from a range of timepieces designed by a brand accustomed to meeting the standards of the choosiest customers of all.

The Luminor Chrono Goldtech Blu Notte is a proud continuation of this tradition, combining the brand’s signature Blu Notte dial with a tachymeter scale on the flange and chronograph buttons on the left of a case that is crafted from Panerai’s very own Goldtech, a gold alloy featuring a generous splash of copper and platinum.

Then there’s the Luminor Marina Collection: naval styling and robust water resistance featured in several beautiful packages. The 44mm model comes with a white dial featuring numerals and hour markers in grey Super-LumiNova with green luminescence.
