Omega watches have been worn by A-listers as varied as Elvis Presley, Buzz Aldrin, Michelle Wie and Prince William. With fans covering that broad a spectrum of different personality types, it should be a cinch to find a suitable gift for more or less anyone in your life this holiday season, from fans of refined glamour to deep sea explorers.

The latter group is catered for by the Seamaster Aqua Terra with its agate grey dial, sailing boat indexes and porthole date window; and the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, the watch worn by James Bond in No Time To Die; while those with their eyes on the stars will covet the Speedmaster Moonwatch Master Chronometer. Among the house’s more delicate options, the De Ville Prestige Power Reserve features an ivory silvery dial with a silk-like pattern, while the De Ville Trésor combines a stainless steel case with a dusting of diamonds.

2. Lady Gaga x Dom Pérignon limited edition champagne

Lady Gaga is teaming up with Dom Pérignon for the release of a limited edition champagne – a 2010 brut that is fast becoming a must-have item for Gaga’s legion of fans. The collaboration’s eye-catching campaign includes a visual experiment, The Queendom, by famed photographer Nick Knight.

Gaga has also collaborated with designer Nicola Formichetti on a sculpture that acts as a veil, hiding three litres of Dom Pérignon’s 2005 pink champagne behind it. Only 110 of these limited edition sculptures will go on sale privately, and for diehard fans who want to catch a glimpse, a few will be on display in the brand’s major flagship stores.

In addition, Dom Pérignon launched a charity raffle for one of the exclusive sculptures, with proceeds going to Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation. Classy, delicious and generous – just like the lady herself.

3. Canada Goose launches its first footwear collection

For those lucky enough to be able to travel somewhere genuinely cold, luxury outdoor clothing brand Canada Goose has unveiled its first footwear collection. The boots, for men and women, come in two styles – Snow Mantra and Journey. With a design inspired by the brand’s own Snow Mantra Parka, the former are designed for use in extreme environments, while the latter are performance luxury hiking boots.

The brand takes the business of testing its gear terribly seriously, and this time it gave the boots to a collection of outdoorsy types, including adventurers, athletes and researchers, to try them out for six months. Both styles come with a waterproof membrane that helps them provide protection down to some seriously chilly temperatures: -30 degrees Celsius for the Snow Mantra and -15 degrees for the Journey, while the leather used, known as TerraCare, is responsibly sourced and tanned using methods that result in lower water and chemical use.

The Lady Dior has become legendary in the world of fashion, ever since its first expression in 1995, inspired by no less than Britain’s Princess Diana. Reinvented season-after-season, the bag’s legacy lives on. Now, in the sixth edition of the Dior Lady Art Project, 12 artists from around the world have been chosen to impart a fresh spin to the iconic bag.

Instilling their own skills, techniques and craftsmanship, this display showcases the personalities of the artists, showing what each has to offer to the fashion world. Despite the variations in style, all 12 pieces are adorned with reworked Dior charms reminiscent of those that Monsieur Dior always carried with him.

Through its numerous interpretations, the Lady Dior has remained a style for the moment, while keeping that signature silhouette that makes it a cult favourite.
