Both brands emphasise the importance of technology and specialise in innovation, pushing back the boundaries of the possible in their respective fields. That’s why the two companies collaborate so closely – a partnership that has just entered its second year, and that covers everything from top level racing to driver development. At the most prestigious level of racing, Ferrari has made a sensational start to the 2022 Formula 1 season – and Richard Mille is especially pleased to congratulate the marque and its drivers, Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz Jr.

Tourbillons: invented for accuracy, retained for their beauty

At the season’s opening race, in Bahrain, the team took the top two positions on the podium, with Leclerc taking the victory from Sainz in second. They then took second and third respectively in the second race, in Saudi Arabia. In Australia, on April 10, Leclerc again won. That puts him top of the drivers’ championship, with Sainz in third place.

Ferrari’s dynamic driving duo have also been wearing an equally high performance Richard Mille timepiece, one of many inspired by the world of motorsport.
