Tourbillons: invented for accuracy, retained for their beauty
At the season’s opening race, in Bahrain, the team took the top two positions on the podium, with Leclerc taking the victory from Sainz in second. They then took second and third respectively in the second race, in Saudi Arabia. In Australia, on April 10, Leclerc again won. That puts him top of the drivers’ championship, with Sainz in third place.
Ferrari’s dynamic driving duo have also been wearing an equally high performance Richard Mille timepiece, one of many inspired by the world of motorsport. The RM 67-02 Automatic Winding Extra Flat was developed with the aim of making a watch whose lightness and wearability make it almost undetectable to the wearer, and it weighs in at just 32 grams, including its new lightweight comfort strap – Richard Mille’s lightest automatic watch ever.
