Cartier Panthère de Cartier
A regular motif for the jeweller, the panther has been a brand icon since 1914, when Jeanne Toussaint became the first woman to be named Cartier’s creative director and embraced the animal as an emblem.
Today the multifaceted cat is seen as representing Cartier’s rebellious sophistication.
The animal graces bags as a radical, bold panther head clasp, created by a jewellery sculptor to complement the classic faceted link chain straps finished in gold or palladium. The hardware serves to highlight the finely grained leather of the bag itself, designed to recall the flexibility and grace of a panther in motion.
The Panthère de Cartier comes in vibrant red, classic black and buttery yellow, among other colours.

Classic Tod’s Di Bag returns
In the 90s, creative director Walter Chiapponi rebranded the beloved staple into a multifunctional handbag for modern contemporary lifestyles, while preserving the trademark attention to detail in the cutting of the leather and the sewing.
Key features of the house signature include a central-stitched seam, rolled handles and an “almond-shaped” end, all with hand-painted raw leather edging, plus the graceful long leather loop at the top for convenience.
The new collection offers the classic design in four sizes – mini, small, medium and large – and 10 colours from a palette ranging from spice and earth tones, to neutrals, and on to more bright, festive hues.
Hermès
Hermès has you covered here, as the endlessly versatile Parisian maison has released a range of items aimed at preposterously pampered pooches.

With a background in leather goods, and in particular equestrian equipment, a dog collar and leash are a natural fit for the house: both come in bridle leather with – in the case of the collar especially – some satisfyingly chunky metallic hardware.
Moving into slightly more unexpected territory, we have Hermès’ take on a natural shampoo and skincare product aimed at dogs. Finally, to ensure Rover’s toys are in similarly good order, there’s a so-called “box of tricks” made of oak and cork, along with a dog brush in beechwood and steel. Now you just need to deal with your dog’s inflated ego.
