This year has seen a wide range of new timepieces already, with many of the most exciting releases coming from Swiss luxury watchmaker Richard Mille.
Two timepieces that stood out the most so far in 2023 are the unconventional RM 66 Flying Tourbillon and the brand’s first women’s sports watch, the RM 07-04 Automatic Sport.

Your eye can’t help but be drawn to the unique and playful openwork hand in 5N red gold that holds the movement in its fingers. And because Richard Mille likes to turn regular stylistic rules on its head, the hand that appears on this creation is seen as through an X-ray – a nod to the famous RM 052 Tourbillon Skull.

With this model, the RM 66 Flying Tourbillon is a tribute to the disruptive spirit of the 60s and the era of rock ‘n’ roll. The horns gesture is represented by outstretched index and little fingers, while the last phalange of the thumb holding the middle and ring fingers are visible from the back of the watch.
The architecture of the RM 66 manual winding calibre showcases a fast-winding barrel providing a 72-hour power reserve positioned at 6 o’clock and the tourbillon at 12 o’clock – a first for the brand.
