Style Edit: Pomellato’s Stile Libero collection flaunts Milanese elegance with vibrant stones

The Italian brand’s latest high jewellery collection celebrates Milan’s goldsmithing artistry through tactile designs and a rainbow of coloured gems
The brand has been encoding the signature combination of unbeatable glamour and painstaking craftsmanship that characterises its hometown into unique jewellery creations since 1967. Each one is a maximalist showcase of the chromatic majesty of a spectrum of coloured stones; these are curving, sensuous, tactile pieces that feel as good to the touch as they look to the eye.

The Stile Libero collection, divided into three chapters, reflects Pomellato’s Milanese goldsmithing artistry through an eclectic palette of 65 creations.

The free-spirited riot of hues in the Visionary Colors chapter is expressed by pieces such as the Mandala Chromia medallion necklace, on which a mosaic of 99 pink, violet, yellow, blue, orange and green sapphires is surrounded by a fringe of brown diamonds. On the diamond-set Drops of Paraíba choker, the colours come in the form of 21 pear-shaped Paraíba tourmalines that dangle at irregular intervals.

The three styles of Serti Libre ring are festooned with Mandarin garnets, pink spinels or tsavorites; while 68 round-cut, transparent, pink, yellow and green tourmalines grace the Rainbow Supreme rivière necklace.
