  • Formerly with Chelsea and Arsenal, the French striker signed a multimillion-dollar contract with Serie A club AC Milan and also plays for the France national team – which won the 2018 Fifa World Cup
  • Boasting sponsorships with Hugo Boss, Diesel and Puma, Giroud has been spotted with the coveted Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, classic Rolex GMT Master II ‘Pepsi’ and avant-garde RM 011 Flyback Chronograph

Olivier Giroud, among the top players in France’s football team, is expected to play at the 2024 Paris Olympics – where winning the gold would be especially sentimental for the team that brought home the Fifa World Cup in 2018.

Giroud’s journey in professional football started early, when he represented his country in the under-15 and under-17 divisions in Grenoble city’s youth academy. He later joined flagship teams such as Chelsea and Arsenal as a striker and led both to championship wins. In 2021, Giroud reportedly received €2 million (US$2.18 million) in bonuses and fees when he signed on to play for Serie A club AC Milan, per Sky Sports.

With a lucrative contract and fame comes attention from brands, of course. Giroud has modelled for fashion houses including Hugo Boss, Diesel fragrances and Puma – he has been working with the latter since 2009.

Like many successful athletes, Giroud has a lifestyle that matches his substantial net worth. According to football data website Capology, Giroud is set to bring in close to €4.5 million alone from his contract with AC Milan in 2024 – more than €86,000 a week.

While Giroud shares his success with his wife and four children, he doesn’t appear opposed to treating himself to a bit of bling from time to time.
