Cavill, Taylor-Johnson, Jun and Zhang Ziyi have become ambassadors for Longines, Omega, Piaget and Jaeger-LeCoultre, respectively

Four of today’s most prominent actors are now able to add “watch brand ambassador” to their list of roles.

Zhang Ziyi – Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre has named Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi as a global ambassador. Zhang, who rose to fame with Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000) and also starred in other films such as The Grandmaster (2013), appears in an elegant campaign wearing the Swiss watchmaker’s signature timepiece, the Reverso.

Jun Ji-hyun – Piaget

Jeweller and watchmaker Piaget unveiled the Sixtie watch at last year’s Watches and Wonders. The maison’s global ambassador, Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun, also known as Gianna Jun, was at the Geneva fair for the unveiling of the trapeze-shaped timepiece, which is also available as a sautoir necklace.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson – Omega

When Omega recently announced Aaron Taylor-Johnson as brand ambassador, James Bond fans couldn’t help but wonder if the British actor would also become the next 007, given that he famously wears the brand. Taylor-Johnson joins A-list Omega ambassadors such as Nicole Kidman and George Clooney.
