Style Edit: Hublot’s new boutique at The Venetian Macao celebrates innovation and craft

To mark the occasion, Hublot is also introducing the Big Bang Ceramic Carbon timepiece – exclusively available in Greater China

The opening marks a significant milestone for the Swiss watchmaker: it introduces to Asia its latest boutique concept, a contemporary interpretation of Hublot’s renowned Art of Fusion philosophy. Throughout the space, sleek architectural forms and digital elements combine to create an environment that feels both futuristic and inviting. The result is a setting that mirrors the brand’s unique ability to unite seemingly contrasting worlds: tradition and technology, craftsmanship and experimentation.

Rather than focusing solely on product display, the boutique encourages visitors to engage with the Hublot universe through a carefully curated journey. The design of the store remains unmistakably Hublot – bold, contemporary and driven by a constant pursuit of new ideas.

To celebrate the occasion, Hublot hosted an evening that reflected the dynamic energy of the brand. Guests gathered for a ceremonial ribbon-cutting accompanied by a traditional lion dance performance that paid tribute to local culture, symbolising prosperity and good fortune. The festivities continued with a vibrant DJ-led celebration, blending heritage and modernity in a manner that echoed the philosophy behind the new boutique itself.

Leading the inauguration were Omar Choudhary, managing director of Hublot Greater China, and Timothy Jones, senior vice-president of retail at Sands China Ltd, joined by acclaimed artist and filmmaker Juno Mak. Known for his boundary-pushing creative work, Mak embodies the pioneering mindset that has long defined Hublot’s identity.
