The two 28mm Aquaracer models and five pastel-coloured Formula One watches all share Solargraph technology that charges the battery on natural or artificial light

Tag Heuer is turning up the brightness on its Solargraph collection with two distinctly different yet equally compelling propositions: the playful new Formula One Solargraph Pastel collection and the expanded Aquaracer Professional Solargraph 100 and 200 range.

Drawing inspiration from the vibrant optimism of the late 1980s, the Formula One Solargraph Pastel collection captures the carefree glamour of endless summers and coastal escapes. Rendered in a range of hues like pastel yellow, pink, blue, green and lavender-blue, these watches inject a welcome dose of personality into contemporary sports watchmaking. The 38mm case retains the approachable proportions that have helped reignite enthusiasm for the Formula One line, while lightweight materials and vivid colour combinations lend the collection a youthful appeal.

Beneath the playful exterior lies serious innovation. At the heart of each model is Tag Heuer’s Solargraph movement, capable of converting both natural and artificial light into energy. The technology offers remarkable autonomy while eliminating the need for routine battery replacements, making these watches as practical as they are visually arresting. Select references elevate the proposition further with diamond-set indexes and refined finishing, bringing a touch of jewellery-inspired sophistication to the collection.

While the Formula One Solargraph celebrates colour and spontaneity, the Aquaracer Professional Solargraph range embodies technical elegance. Designed for those who demand versatility from their timepieces, the latest additions to the Aquaracer family seamlessly transition from city life to the open sea. The Professional 200 Solargraph models feature the TH50-00 movement, robust construction, enhanced ergonomics and 200 metres of water resistance, underscoring the collection’s enduring connection to exploration and performance.

Meanwhile, the Aquaracer Professional 100 Solargraph – which features the TH51-00 movement – introduces a more refined aesthetic. Compact proportions, luminous mother-of-pearl dials and diamond accents create an offering that speaks to contemporary tastes while preserving the collection’s inherently sporty character.

Across both ranges, Solargraph technology remains the unifying thread, transforming light into a reliable source of energy and reflecting a broader shift towards intelligent, low-maintenance watchmaking.

Together, these latest releases demonstrate Tag Heuer’s ability to interpret innovation through different lenses. Whether expressed through the sun-drenched exuberance of the Formula One Pastel collection or the purposeful sophistication of the Aquaracer, Solargraph proves that modern luxury need not choose between beauty, performance and practicality – it can embrace all three.
