Rolex to Patek Philippe: inside Knicks star Josh Hart’s luxury watch collection

The NBA champion lost some of his prized timepieces in a robbery last year, but says it ‘isn’t the end of the world’
New York Knicks’ Josh Hart is a dyed-in-the-wool watch collector. The 31-year-old shooting guard, who was recently profiled by Hodinkee, said he bought his first “real” watch – a Rolex Datejust – when he was drafted into the NBA in 2017.
Both Hart’s watch collection and his career have come a long way since then. Last month, the Knicks clinched a 4-1 victory against the San Antonio Spurs in the 2026 NBA Finals. It marked the first time the Knicks had won the championship in 53 years, while Knicks-Spurs games became the most-watched Finals series since 1998, averaging over 20 million viewers.

The Knicks shooting guard not only shone on the court, scoring 38 points across five games, but his off-court attire, particularly his timepieces, also turned heads. On his way to the third game, Hart was spotted wearing a limited-edition rose-gold Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron as he walked through the tunnel, which has become a de facto red carpet. Only 72 sculptural timepieces – each priced at around US$445,000 – were produced for the ultra-luxury collaboration between the watchmaker and sports car manufacturer.
Speaking to Hodinkee about the watches he’d added to his collection, Hart said: “Stuff that I think is going to fit me well, but also I can wear it in three, four, five years. It’s not gonna be one of those things where two years later I’m like, ‘Yo, what the hell was I doing?’”

From heavy hitters like Patek Philippe to niche independent watchmakers, here are some of Josh Hart’s most impressive timepieces.
Rolex “Bruce Wayne”

Hart revealed in his interview with Hodinkee that he received the Rolex GMT-Master II as a Christmas gift from his Knicks teammate Mikal Bridges. The watch, priced at US$12,000, is one of the most popular models from the Swiss luxury watchmaker. Collectors nicknamed the model “Bruce Wayne,” inspired by its sophisticated grey-and-noir colour scheme, fit for a certain billionaire with a superhero alter ego.
