The Macallan distillery and the French crystal house, Lalique, completed the Lalique Six Pillars collection with the launch of the Peerless Spirit decanter, featuring an extraordinary 65-year-old single-malt whisky.
Limited to 450 pieces, the decanter is designed and created by Lalique with a single peerless drop motif of The Macallan at the centre, while retaining the iconic Macallan inverted triangle. Inspired by the blown and pinched technique taken from René Lalique’s heritage, each decanter is numbered and contains one of the oldest whiskies ever released by the distillery, oozing a rich flavour and beautiful natural colour made from the exceptional sherry-seasoned oak casks. The full collection of six decanters was put forward for auction in Hong Kong with all proceeds going to charities.
