Shoes and Champagne could hardly be expected to cross each other’s orbits, but Parisian shoemaker Berluti and Champagne house Krug have joined forces to present a new collection of redesigned Berluti Un Jour briefcases using a dark cherry patina.

The original dark cherry patina was created by Berluti for Krug in 2015, inspired by the notebook of the Champagne house’s founder Joseph Krug.

Limited to only 100 pieces, the bags in the new collection are available in two sizes – for short journeys and long trips. Both designs can be used as Champagne carriers to hold bottles of Krug and Joseph glasses, or as travel bags to fit in Berluti shoes.
