The exhibition will feature the luxury car’s predecessors, from the Fred Astaire Phantom I to the Phantom VII

What better way is there to celebrate the new Phantom VIII than looking back at its many predecessors? Rolls-Royce is showcasing seven previous generations of Phantoms at an exhibition titled “The Great Eight Phantoms”, taking place in Mayfair, London from July 27 to September 14.

Starting from its debut – the Fred Astaire Phantom I in 1925 – to the Phantom VII in 2003, the marque has continued to push the boundaries of innovations in luxury cars.

 

The first car to be shown is the Fred Astaire Phantom I, which is loaned to the exhibition by its owner – the Petersen Museum in Los Angeles.
