Following up on a burgundy iteration and two LA-inspired All-Star Weekend models, Nike has readied another Air More Money drop. This was released just in time for the Lunar New Year.

The sneaker’s dark colour scheme grants extra emphasis to the gold and red accents, the traditional colours of Lunar New Year. Seen on the black suede upper is a red swoosh accompanied by gold Chinese characters, while the heel unit boasts the lucky numbers 590 and 888. Below, detailed embroidery showcases an old Chinese coin that used to represent a single yuan; here it represents the popular aspiration for a prosperous New Year. Elsewhere, the sneaker’s usual details are in place, including its removable shroud, pull tab on the heel, and visible Air Unit on the midsole.
