How to style food like a pro with Mariana Velasquez and Bulthaup
We met Mariana Velasquez while she was in Hong Kong recently for the launch of luxury German kitchen manufacturer Bulthaup’s b Solitaire collection, on which she collaborated.
Known for its functional, yet beautiful and ergonomic designs, Bulthaup has been producing the finest kitchen furniture and accessories since 1949.
Bulthaup’s new b Solitaire collection includes new pieces – shelf units, table and bench – in a series of four personalities representing four basic human needs: Dress, Food, Shelter and Travel.
Velasquez represents the “Dress” personality, and as a food stylist and fashionista who has spent more than a decade working within New York’s most celebrated culinary circles, we were excited to talk to her about her life, her work and how we can all style food like a pro.
