Cartier shows off its artsy side in Shanghai – and it’s not something you’d want to miss. Titled “Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain, A Beautiful Elsewhere”, the exhibition is presented in collaboration with Power Station of Art (PSA), a key cultural institution in China.

This marks the first time Fondation Cartier pour l’art contemporain is exhibiting in China. Some 100 works from artists around the world are on display – a selection of which was commissioned especially for the exhibition.

Expect to see artworks encompassing  mediums from photography to sculpture, and even an installation by a bioacoustician. Works by up-and-coming artists, such as Gao Shan, Hu Liu and Li Yongbin, are showcased next to works by  veteran Chinese artists Cai Guo-Qiang and Huang Yong Ping, evidence of Fondation Cartier’s commitment to highlighting young talent. The exhibition runs until July 29 at Power Station of Art.
