With the latest film, ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’, due for release this month, we look at fantastic luxury collectibles that celebrate the franchise

Film fans all over the world are wondering why the film Solo: A Star Wars Story is set to go on general release from May 23, rather than on May 4, which fans of the franchise celebrate as Star Wars Day each year.

An earlier screening of Solo – focusing on the adventures of the young Star Wars character Han Solo, starring Alden Ehrenreich in the title role, and directed by Ron Howard – also takes place at the Cannes Film Festival, in France, on May 15.
