Fifa World Cup 2018: which shirt is your favourite?

Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo wears his nation’s soccer team shirt, but which shirt among the 32 Fifa World Cup 2018 finalists is your favourite?

With the Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia now at the halfway stage, the matches involving the last 16 teams will start on Saturday.

Regardless of which team you are supporting, here is a round-up of the home shirts of all 32 countries that reached this year’s tournament, featuring some of their star players.

While almost half of the teams have been sporting red colours, there have been some eye-catching designs that stood out.

Peru’s diagonal striped shirt had luxe gold trims; Belgium’s geometric-motif accents were taken from their 1984 shirts; Japan took inspiration from the traditional samurai armour for their kit with dotted lines; Croatia’s red-and-white checkerboard prints are definitely eye-catching on the field.

The most popular of them all? Nigeria’s home shirt, featuring a neon green zigzag design, which sold out after three million pre-orders (yes, you read that right).
