Tsim Sha Tsui’s Hyatt Regency has prepared a line-up of delicious game with delectable autumnal ingredients such as figs and mushrooms.

Stick your fork into French porcini foam soup with game praline, venison tartare with sour marinated butternut squash or pumpkin seed crusted red deer loin with Brussels sprouts, chestnuts and heirloom carrots.

Korean restaurant serves 10-course tasting menu and history lessons


Famous for his all immersive dining experiences, chef Uwe Opocensky promises an autumn menu with personal touches such as recipes passed down from his grandmother, followed by exotic items such as mushroom tea, and French Mieral duck, served with duck hearts and bitter chocolate in a wild mushroom sauce.

Grand Hyatt’s buffet line-up at Tiffin decided to raise the stakes and focus on pates and terrines made with pigeon, deer, foie gras alongside duck rillettes.

For something a bit more substantial there is also venison stew, braised wild boar with sauerkraut and cuisse de canard confite.

And that is just what you can choose from on top of what is available at one of the top buffets in town.

On Dining

Wild hare is notorious for being difficult to prepare, and it is said that a French chef’s skills are only as good as this dish.

On Dining’s chef Philippe Orrico struts his stuff with his Le Lièvre A la Royale, marinated for a week then stuffed with truffle, before being finished with in a luxurious butter sauce.

There is also wild duck and venison on the seasonal menu, so if seasonal meats is your game, then On Dining is where you should be heading.

Macau’s master chefs add durian and ‘meatless’ meat dishes to menu


Hong Kong’s esteemed institution for French fine dining presents a sumptuous menu of wild game to die for.

Available until 30 November, delectable dishes include wild boar pâté en croûte with pistachios on a game jelly, duck and partridge pie with autumn fruits and roasted grouse garnished with red berries and green Chartreuse sauce.

You can conjure images of crisp autumn air and the crunching of leaves beneath your feet with these choices.
