Chopard’s Magical Setting collection of jewellery shines
Chopard has introduced a line of diamonds and coloured stones that plays with light – Magical Setting. Items include clustered rings, pendants and earrings.
The collection, the brainchild of co-president and artistic director Caroline Scheufele, offers a choice of jewels set with diamonds only, or with diamonds and blue sapphires from Sri Lanka, rubies from Mozambique/Madagascar or emeralds from Colombia/Zambia. The designs combine today’s technology with ancient crafts to create contemporary jewellery.
Scheufele aims to reflect female empowerment with the collection. Her inspiration for the light-filled jewels also comes from her love of cinema and the company’s association as official partner to the Cannes Film Festival.
