Each limestone villa boasts sophisticated neoclassical architecture, five ensuite bedrooms, sprawling gardens and a private heated pool

Villas with a view are hard to come by in Hong Kong, but a new residential development boasting ample square footage, sea views and world-class interior design is generating buzz in the real-estate market.

45 Tai Tam offers unobstructed views of the South China Sea from its seven limestone villas, a feature highlighted by the layout of each house. From the foyer, visitors are immediately led into the living room, where floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the spectacular sea views.

Three internationally-renowned designers – Paris-based husband and wife duo Gilles & Boissier and Hong Kong native Joseph Fung – were commissioned to do the interior for a few select villas, breathing their own creative vision into the elegant 4,750-square-foot space.

Gilles & Boissier are best known for their work on the Baccarat Hotel in New York and the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.
