1. Lake District, UK: 2,951,548 hashtags

This popular holiday destination is a region and national park in Cumbria in northwest England and takes first place on our list. It is recognised for its glacial ribbon lakes, rugged fell mountains and historic literary associations with William Wordsworth and other Lake poets.
2. Lake Michigan, US: 2,208,442 hashtags
