If you’re looking for a trip less ordinary, a travel adventure or a luxury holiday without the crowds, it’s not the cool kids who are leading the pack. Rather, the over-65s are steering the trends thanks to their financial stability, strong physique and devil-may-care attitude when it comes to exploring the world. “This is certainly a trend we’ve noticed,” says Nico Heath, director and co-founder of Lightfoot Travel. “Many of our guests over the age of 65 are looking for new destinations and discovery, and are eager to venture to more off-the-beaten-track places.
