Pink and her son both tested positive for Covid-19, Boris Johnson was in critical condition but recovered, singer Sara Bareilles has ‘fully recovered’ and even The Real Housewives’ Andy Cohen was affected

As the global pandemic continues, more and more celebrities are testing positive for Covid-19. Even animals don’t seem to be safe – the latest furry addition to the two dogs in Hong Kong who tested positive is a tiger at the Bronx Zoo. And the numbers keep rising, especially in the US where the cases have surpassed every country on Earth.

When we published the story of who had it a couple of weeks ago, the list was short, but the number of famous people who have the coronavirus keeps increasing. Here are the latest celebrities with Covid-19.

The award-winning singer-songwriter, who announced on Instagram on April 3 she and her three-year-old son, Jameson, both had the virus, was also very critical of the way the US had been handling the outbreak. “It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible,” she said. “We must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.”

Pink also donated US$1 million to help fight the virus, giving US$500,000 to Temple University Hospital in honour of her mother, Judy Moore, who worked there, and US$500,000 to the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency Covid-19 Crisis Fund.

Sara Bareilles

Brave singer Sara Bareilles tested positive for the coronavirus in March, but has said she has “fully recovered” from the illness.

“I am just thinking about all the people who are walking through this really tricky time and sending a lot of love. And just really grateful for every easy breath and every day that I get to be walking around,” she said while “social distance walking” outside her home in Los Angeles.
