Before becoming a fashion icon, Gigi’s major introduction to the world was as a peripheral character on the popular reality series, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Hadid’s mum and former model herself, Yolanda, was one of the series’ main stars, featuring in seasons three through six. Yolanda shared much of her personal life with the show’s viewers, introducing her three beautiful (and now world-famous) children, Gigi the eldest.
One heart-warming mother-daughter moment was when Gigi left home in LA to pursue her career in New York and Yolanda was there alongside to support and help her settle into her new life out of the nest.
