Move over Disney princesses – make way for the real corona queens, as Covid-19 lockdown inspires some outrageous LGBT creativity

The international coronavirus lockdown has been challenging for all of us around the world. We’ve had to find new creative ways to operate and get things done, all from home on our own. And it seems gay men have found their own way of handling the homebound situation, if social media is anything to go by.

From setting up extensive home gym workouts and shaving their own hair to precious self-care time and new baking hobbies, many gay men are living their best lives right now.

As a result, illustrator Tommy Taylor's latest work depicts some of our favourite Disney male characters as gay men in the era of the coronavirus lockdown, and it’s both beautiful and hilarious. Move over Disney princesses – make space for the real corona queens.
