It may feel like yesterday that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt escaped the global spotlight and headed to the sand dunes of Namibia to give birth to their firstborn child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. And now, Shiloh turns 14 years old on May 27.

In 2010, Vanity Fair interviewed Jolie, and she discussed her daughter’s exploration of identity. “She wants to be a boy,” Jolie said. “So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boy clothes.
