It may feel like yesterday that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt escaped the global spotlight and headed to the sand dunes of Namibia to give birth to their firstborn child, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt. And now, Shiloh turns 14 years old on May 27.

Little did we know back in 2006 that Shiloh would become emerge as a headline-making, conversation-starter in her own right. From feature film voice-overs and wax figures to becoming an LGBTQ+ idol, things can only get bigger for Shiloh in the future.

At a young age, Shiloh surprised the world. In 2010, Vanity Fair interviewed Jolie, and she discussed her daughter’s exploration of identity. “She wants to be a boy,” Jolie said. “So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boy clothes. She thinks she’s one of her brothers.” Pitt also mentioned that his daughter wanted to be called John. The full story:

Ditching dresses and skirts, Shiloh has trademarked her distinctive taste for fashion.
